We often write about trends and how this reflects your property, but studies are showing that colour psychology can influence how people feel about a room or home!

Red– It’s said that red is a stimulant. As the most intense colour, red is said to create an energetic mood – great for living or dining areas to stimulate conversations or in kitchens to stimulate the appetite!

Yellow – The colour of sunshine! In small doses it creates warmth and cheeriness. It’s advised not to go overboard with yellow walls in every room, as studies show it provokes temper.

Blue – This beautiful hue is said to be calming and lowers blood pressure. This is will be great for a bedroom to add the sense of relaxation.

Green – Probably the most-friendly colour for rooms. Green promotes feelings of warmth and comfort. Great for living rooms and bedrooms, choose a hue that reflects your home personality and team with textured soft furnishings.

Purple - Deep purple provokes a sense of luxury. It’s often used as a secondary colour and is great to stimulate creativity.
