Melbourne's property market saw the lowest clearance rate for well over a year with a 65% clearance rate from 756 reported auctions. The flow on effects of interest rate rises and rising inflation is definitely creating more of a buyers market. 

Renovated family homes continue to be the star performers of Melbourne's property market. A house in Flintonia Street, Hughesdale saw 3 bidders push the price up to $1,636,000.  

Buyers have the upper hand in the Melbourne's property market as there are less run away results. We were able to purchase a house in Mt Marthas Golden Mile located in Osborne Grove for $1,626,000 without any auction competition.
