Melbourne’s auction volumes have rebounded this week with a large increase up to 568 auctions with a 92% clearance rate. This is well up from the 278 auctions last weekend. 

There continues to be solid results in Melbourne’s middle suburbs. Over 60 buyers were registered for a Glen Waverley property that sold for $1,536,000. The house in Foy Court, Glen Waverley sold for $226,000 over reserve with 18 bidder’s showing how strong the demand is.

Return of inspections has boosted seller confidence with the number of new listings on realestate.com up by 61%. There was again another solid result with eight bidders battling for a three bedroom house in Rix Street, Glen Iris which sold for $1,565,000, $215,000 over reserve.
