Star Staff Profile

To celebrate our nomination as a finalist for REIA Medium Agency of the year – we would like to celebrate and showcase our staff who have been part and parcel to our ongoing success!

This month’s star profile is Crystal Linter, Business Manager at Advantage. Crystal plays an integral role in our business working closely with Frank and our valued clients, helping with their property goals.

How long have you been part of the Advantage team and what does your role entail?

I work directly with Director, Frank Valentic who oversees the running of the business and all of its departments including Buyers Advocacy, Vendor Advocacy, Owners Corporation and Property Management. He is also involved in “The Block” television series, The Great Australian Dream series and offers Real Estate commentary to the media. My role is largely sales based dealing directly with clients and agents on a daily basis however I work closely with Frank across the broader spectrum of business.

What makes your job rewarding? Do you have a favourite memory/client experience you would like to share?

The part of real estate I have always loved and the main reason it has kept me in the industry for a decade is the client relationships you can build. It’s very rewarding to assist someone when the buy or sell – it’s a great feeling seeing them build their property portfolio. These are life changing decisions and we get to be hands on and help them achieve their goals and hopefully streamline what can for many be an overwhelming process.

When you go above and beyond your call of duty and you see how you can create those “wow” moments for your clients – those are the most memorable – you can actually see how you can make a real difference to their lives.

What makes coming to work on a Monday an easy thing to do?

The coffee machine in my office certainly doesn’t hurt! On a serious note, I do have a genuine love for real estate. I grew up with parents who were avid investors and it was through real estate that they were able to change their lives. I think that same sentiment runs deep within Advantage as a business. We are not just about individual transactions, most of our clients are long standing and it’s really rewarding seeing how smart real estate investments can change their lives.

How would you describe working at Advantage, why do you think it stands out from other real estate agencies?

We are a family business and we treat everyone who comes into the team as family. I think this is reflective in the way we interact with our clients. We all work hard, have a few laughs throughout the day and strive to deliver a superior level of service. We go above and beyond for each other within the office environment and we try to create the same culture with our clientele.
