One of the strongest results was the sale of 306 Chapel Road, Keysborough which sold for $3,900,000. It was a house on 6.8 acres and went well above the $2,950,000 plus quote for the highest auction result of the weekend.

Who would have thought 10 years ago that Kensington would be smashing the million dollar price level as seen with a house at 1 Robertson Street which sold for $1,221,000. A young couple won the keys and paid well above the $900,000 plus price quote.

Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs such as Northcote continue to fetch strong results as seen with a house at 65 Bridge Street on the weekends auctions. It sold for $1,715,000 with 4 bidders pushing it well above the $1,450,000 plus price quote.
