Our Buyer’s Advocate clients are happy that they are getting much more opportunities in the current buyers market where the clearance rate has now dropped to 71% from 501 auctions this weekend. Turnkey renovated properties continue to be the most sought after in Melbourne’s current property market. A 5 bedroom 2 bathroom renovated home at 10 Callanish Road, Camberwell had the highest auction sale for the weekend of $2,860,000 as it sold above the $2.7 million plus quote on a large 804sq metre parcel of land.

Who would have thought 10 years ago that a rundown house on 788sq metres in Boxhill would sell for nearly $2m? 6 Kangerong Road, Box Hill which had a very unrenovated 3 bedroom house sold for $1,975,0000 showing how far the market has risen in Box Hill in the last 2 decades.

Modern townhouses continue to be in solid demand as e seen with a property at 28 Newry Street, Fitzroy North. The modern 3 bedroom property sold for $2,526,000 as many buyers prefer the lock up and leave nature of a townhouse property.
