Melbourne’s property market saw another consistent weekend with a 77% clearance rate from a smaller volume of 490 auctions most probably due to the School Holidays. The market is travelling like last year where the same weekend saw a 76% clearance rate from another small volume of 450 auctions. Read all Melbourne’s auction results below.

One of the biggest sales for the weekend was a four bedroom, five bathroom newly built home at 7 Charles St, Hawthorn. The luxurious home with multiple living areas sold for $7,000,000.

Properties in coveted high school zones continue to be in strong demand with families. A house located at 25 Charlton St in Mount Waverley saw 70 plus bids before selling to a buyer who bought the home for $1,693,000 in the highly sought after Mount Waverley Secondary School Zone.
