One of the strongest auction results from the weekend was the two residences sold together at 38 Hanmer Street, Williamstown which sold for $5m. The 6 bedrooms and 4 bathroom 4 carpark accommodation over 1022 sq metres had lots of interest for a big result for the suburb.

Who would have expected suburbs like East Keilor to be smashing the $2m barrier say ten years ago? A house at 6 Nicholas Court, Keilor East sold for $2,036,000, well above the $1,650,000 plus quote range.

One of the strongest results for the weekend was at the entry level end of the market for a 3 bedroom house at 8 Gaze Court, Mill Park. It sold for a whopping $980,000, more than $200,000 above the 650,000 plus quote range and reserve. 6 bidders pushed it hard and it sold to a first home buyer.

Another strong sale result was seen at 34 Beresford Crescent, Gladstone Park at the entry level end of the market where the property sold for $770,000, $70,000 over reserve. Four buyers mainly first home buyers battled it out for the keys.
