Melbourne’s property market continues to see improved confidence with 636 reported auctions and an 82% clearance rate recorded. For the same weekend last year, there was a much larger volume of 1362 auctions with a lower clearance rate of 76%. Read all Melbourne’s auction results below.

One of the biggest auction results of the weekend occurred in the middle northern suburb Mill Park at 4 Tench Court. The three bedroom, two bathroom house on small size block of 586m2 sold for $972,000 with strong competition pushing the price $177,000 above reserve.

Another strong result on the weekend was the sale of 3 Richman Drive in Mt Eliza. The four bedroom, three bathroom home on the large lot of 2596m2 sold for $2,100,000 netting the owners a considerable profit after having purchased it for only $155.000 in 1997.
