Melbourne’s property market continues to give buyers more opportunities as there was a 71% clearance rate from 596 auctions this weekend. This was well below the 82% clearance rate from a large volume of 792 auctions on the same weekend last year. Read Melbourne’s auction results below.

Renovated ready to move into properties continue to see strong results as seen with the sale of 76 Park Road, Middle Park. The 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home on a good size 337sq metre block for the area sold for one of the strongest results for the weekend with a sale price of $4,350,0000.

Family homes continue to be sought after and popular in Melbourne’s inner eastern suburbs in family friendly suburbs such as Kew. A house at 22 Miller Grove sold for $3,180,000 and the 4 bedroom 1 bathroom home was on a good size family block of 798sq metres and still needed some modern day renovations.
