Market Update 28th October 2024

Melbourne’s property market again saw lower spring volumes than previous years with only 822 recorded auctions and a strong 76% clearance rate. This volume is considerably lower than the 1386 auctions for the same weekend last year with a 78% clearance rate. Read all Melbourne’s auction results below.

One of the strongest auction results of the weekend was the sale of 91 Munro St in Coburg. The renovated  three bedroom period home, sold for $1,280,000 with three bidders competing for the keys and the property selling for well above the quoted range of $1,100,000 plus.

Another impressive sale from the weekend was that of 61 Leicester St in Fitzroy. The four bedroom, three bathroom four storey home sold for $2,925,000, after the current owners bought it in 2015 for $1,401,000 and completed a fourth floor and outdoor area extension.
