Melbourne’s property market continued its solid performance with a 78% clearance rate from 542 auctions. Last year the clearance rate was similar at 78% as well from a slightly larger volume of 658 auctions. Read all Melbourne’s auction results below.

One of the strongest auction results of the weekend was for a modern home at 10 Grandview Grove, Glen Iris. The five bedroom, three bathroom property sold for $3,310,000 and was a popular turn key property.

The entry level end of the market continues to see strong bidding numbers with a property at 14 Alderbark Way, Greenvale having seven bidders fight it out. The property sold for $695,000, well above the $590,000 plus quote range with a young local family with young children fighting off a number of first homebuyers.
