Market Update 30th September 2024

Melbourne auction volumes were much lower this weekend, as was expected with it being AFL Grand Final weekend. There were only 153 reported auction results with a clearance rate of 65%. Read all Melbourne's auction results below.

 One of the auctions that took place on Grand Final weekend was a development site at 60 Henry St in Melton. The auction had four active bidders and sold for $675,000, which was $125,000 above the reserve.

Another strong auction result for the weekend was the sale of 22B Mawarra Crescent in Chadstone. The auction was contested by two bidders with a young first homebuyer couple winning the keys for $1,070,000, which was considerably higher than the price guide of $900,000-$950,000.
