Melbourne’s property market continues it consistent performance with a 81% clearance rate from 776 auctions,  This was similar to the previous year where the clearance rate was 78% from a larger volume of 1054 auctions. Read all Melbourne’s auctions results below.

Renovated period homes continue to be in strong demand with families. A five bedroom, three bathroom house with pool on 906m2 at 21 Sunnyside Avenue in Camberwell sold for $4,960,000. The sale was one of the biggest results of the weekend and was well above the purchase price of $2,860,000 that the owners paid in 2007.

Modern turnkey properties continue to be widely sought after as was seen with 9 Tudor Court in Balwyn North which was quoted at $3.2 million plus. The five bedroom, five bathroom modern home on 585m2 with a pool sold for $3,650,000 to sell well above the quote range.
