Market Update 28th February 2024

Melbourne’s property market passed another super Saturday test where there were over a thousand scheduled auctions and there was a 75% clearance rate reported from 876 auctions. This was similar to the same weekend last year, where the clearance rate was 75% from 1008 auctions.  Read all Melbourne’s auction results below.

One of the most expensive auction sales for the weekend was the sale of 35 Champion St in Brighton.  The 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom updated home on 630m2 of land sold for $3,300,000 at auction.

One of the strongest auctions results for the weekend was at the renovated and extended Californian Bungalow at 10 Lord St in Brunswick East. The property ended up selling for $1,790,000 with three young families pushing hard to smash the reserve by $140,000.
