Melbourne’s property market finished the auction year on a positive and consistent note again with a 74% clearance rate from over 716 reported auctions, though there were over 1000 scheduled auctions on another super Saturday. The market is stronger than last year when the clearance rate was 67% from 823 auctions. Read all Melbourne’s auction results below.

Turn key modern and renovated properties continue to be the big winners in 2023 in Melbourne’s property market. A house in Threadneedle Street Attwood sold for $1.536 million with 3 bidders pushing the price $136,000 above reserve.

One of Melbourne’s strongest sales for the weekend was a period Victorian home in Elgin Street, Hawthorn. The renovated home with timeless appeal sold for a strong result of $4.82 million.
