Melbourne’s property market saw good buyer demand again  with a 73% clearance rate from 618 auctions. This is similar to last year’s 71% rate from a larger volume of 845 auctions. Read all Melbourne’s auction results below.

One of the biggest sales from the weekend was a 4 bedroom original house in Chrystobel Crecent, Hawthorn. The unrenovated home on a large 985sqm block sold for $5.025 million in this blue chip location.

One of the strongest and most competitive auctions was seen in Lorna Street, Cheltenham were 11 bidders fought it out. The original house sold for $1,221,500, a whopping $271,500 above the reserve. A young couple plan to complete a full renovation and make it their family home.
