Market Update 26th of April 2022
By | 26th Apr 22

Melbourne's property market remains a sellers' market in most parts of Melbourne. The clearance rate was a consistent 73% from around 450 auctions. This is a much larger volume than a traditional ANZAC day weekend following the Easter long weekend.

One of the biggest auction sales for the weekend was a house in Kurrak Rd, Yarrambat. The house in Melbourne's North East sold for $1,680,000, with 5 bidders pushing the price well above the reserve and smashing the reserve by $400,000.

Single level units continue to be in strong demand in Bayside suburbs. A single level renovated unit that ticked all the boxes in Bay Rd, Sandringham had seven bidders pushing the price to $1,300,000 which was $100,000 above reserve.
