Turnkey renovated properties continue to be the strongest performers in Melbourne’s property market. A house in Maxwell Street, Northcote was quoted $1.9 million plus and sold for $2.481 million. 4 bidders pushed the renovated home on around 531sqm well over the reserve.

One of the biggest auction results on the weekend was a unrenovated house in Te Hongi Court, Beaumaris. The house with views sold for $2.7 million and needed lots of work to update.

Melbourne’s property market survived another Super Saturday test with a clearance rate of 76% from 724 reported auctions. This time last year the clearance rate was 80% from a small volume of 103 auctions. Read all Melbourne’s auction results below.
