Frank Valentic shares his advice on the pro's and con's of buying property off the plan. This is a question that our Buyer's Agents are always asked and before you commit to buying a property off the plan you need to obtain professional advice.

Some of the pro's include stamp duty savings, depreciation savings and purchasing a new property generally in inner city locations. Some con's that need to be considered are whether you are paying the developer and builders premium, no ability to add value through renovations and whether there will be an oversupply of similar properties that could affect your capital growth and / or rental returns.
