We have some tips to transform your pantry to make it efficient and beautiful!

The pantry is always a talking point, so if you are looking to sell or planning to get organised this winter, we have some tips to transform your pantry to make it efficient and beautiful!

Invest in reusable clear containers
Yes, it is an investment, but it will save you time in the long run. Clear containers are great because you are able to see exactly what you have and how much in the pantry. As well as keeping everything protected from insects or condensation, clear containers are sustainable and easy to label as well! Tip: Choose containers appropriate for the size of your contents and consider how frequent you use that product.

Group your products and pantry items
Grouping your pantry items will not only help you keep your pantry organised for longer, but using coloured trays can really help when it comes to cleaning any spills or dust. Using trays, you can group certain food items together, such as baking items so you’re not constantly trying to squeeze boxes or bags of food on the shelves. Tip: Use coloured trays or oven trays to organise your space efficiently

Zone your appliances
If you have a butler’s pantry or walk in pantry we recommend zoning your appliances to avoid clutter. Firstly, review the space and the power points available and group things like the toaster, kettle and microwave together. Items that you do not use frequently throughout the week should be stored neatly in in cupboards and out of site.

Add some greenery
A little pot plant never goes astray! Add instant style with some herbs or a hardy green if you have access to sunlight or choose some tasteful faux plants to add some instant style to your pantry. Yes the pantry is a seen as a practical part of the kitchen, but it also can look beautiful!

Style your onions and potatoes
Say goodbye to boring wire baskets to house your onions and potatoes. Choose geometric wire or wicker baskets to add texture and a beautiful focal point.
