Melbourne continues to be a buyer’s market with more choice for buyers than in previous years. There were over 1000 scheduled auctions for the past weekend and the were 735 auctions recorded results with a 76% clearance rate. This is similar to the same weekend last year where there was a 73% clearance rate from 818 auctions. Read all of Melbourne’s auction results below.

One of the strongest auction results was the sale of 79 Bent St in Moonee Ponds which sold for $3,685,000. The six bedroom, five bathroom family home on 950m2 with a tennis court and pool, last sold for $2,700,000 in 2019, making the owners a handy profit.

Another strong result was the sale of 122 The Righi in Eaglemont which sold for $2,421,500. The four bedroom, three bathroom house on 607m2 of land was last sold in 2008 for only $800,000.
