Melbourne’s property market saw a consistent clearance rate of 77% from 577 auctions. The market is performing at a similar level to last year where the clearance rate of 74% was from a much higher volume of 876 auctions. Read all Melbourne’s auction results below.

One of the biggest sales for the weekend was the sale of 23 Martin St in Brighton.  The four bedroom, two bathroom house on 610m2 sold for $4,530,000, which is nearly eight times the value of the last time it was sold in 1997 for $575,000.

A solid result was seen in Windsor with a house at 23 Albert St selling for $1,625,000. The auction had five bidders and was sold well above the original quote range, with it going over the reserve by over $100,000.
