The Melbourne property market passed another Super Saturday test with a large volume of 1295 reported auctions and a 75% clearance rate. There is now one more big Super Saturday before the market takes a hiatus until mid January. 

Records continue to be smashed in Melbourne’s inner suburbs. A house in Powell Street, Yarraville sold for a record suburb price of $3,202,000 with 2 bidders fighting for the keys.  It broke the previous suburb record just set in October.

Throughout Melbourne we have continued to see suburb records smashed and runaway results each weekend. . A very unique heritage listed property sold in Cardinia over $620,000 above reserve selling for $2,075,000. Five bidders fought for the historic home in Melbournes’outer south east.
