Melbourne’s property market continues to see strong results for the housing sector. The clearance rate was 74% from 682 auctions reported this weekend, compared to a similar 72% from 674 auctions for the same weekend last year. Read all Melbourne’s auction results below.

One of the strongest results for the weekend’s auctions was a house in Dominic Street, Camberwell. The 4 bedroom 3 bathroom modern home sold for $4.515 million on 730sqm of land.

The entry level end of the market continues to be rock solid as was seen with a house in Tillson Drive, Vermont that sold for $715,500. Six bidders pushed the price nearly 10% over reserve.

A 2 bedroom Victorian terrace in Gooch Street, Thornbury had very strong interest from first home buyers with 5 bidders. The property sold for $1.291 million, $179,000 over reserve. The property last traded for $675,000 in 2012.
